Who We Are

Welcome! My name is Randall Gibson,
M.Ed., LMT, RPP, CST.
I am the owner and director of Valley Massotherapy and Polarity Healthcare.

Valley Massotherapy is my massage therapy
practice in Akron, Ohio.
Polarity Healthcare presents educational seminars around the country.

I have been licensed to practice massage in Ohio for over 25 years and have taught
massage therapy professionally for over 16 years as a faculty member of the
National Institute of Massotherapy.
I am also a former chairperson of the American
Polarity Therapy Association's education committee.

 Throughout
my career, I have pursued any training which might bring a deeper
understanding of health and healing. I hold a Master’s
degree in counseling from Kent State University and have completed an eighteen
month training program at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland although
most of my education has focused on physical process and energetic bodywork.
I am certified in Shiatsu by the Shizendokai in Japan, certified in Craniosacral
Therapy by the Upledger Institute and hold an RPP (Registered Polarity
Practitioner) and RPE (Registered Polarity Educator) from the American
Polarity Therapy Association. I am also a registered “Touch For Health Kinesiology” instructor.
In addition to the
above, I am certified in Neuromuscular Massage Therapy (St. John method), and
have studied Myofascial Release and Postural Integration for a solid background
in structural bodywork and clinical massage therapy.

Associated Therapist
My former associate has
moved on to other endeavors. I have a large treatment room available
for someone ready to start or re-locate their own business. I would be
supporting and working with you to build your client base.

Polarity Healthcare
The purpose of
Polarity Healthcare is to provide introductory classes and professional,
continuing education in various energetic approaches to health and healing.
The primary courses include Polarity Therapy, Touch for Health Kinesiology
and Craniosacral Therapy, but I may offer other classes which benefit the
community or help to raise society’s awareness of the wholistic and
energetic nature of real healthcare.
Polarity Healthcare is supported by
a board of advisors composed of health professionals who care about
wholistic health education. I am deeply appreciative of their advice
and collective wisdom.
